How the pipeline works
Shop any Polish store → deliver to your ParcelPoland Warsaw address → we consolidate → ship to UK door. Poland is outside UK but inside EU — Polish sellers ship domestically to us cheaply; international leg is UK-bound.
Brexit VAT in plain English
Goods entering the UK from Poland are imports. HMRC expects VAT on declared value (20% standard rate) plus applicable duty depending on product category. Courier collects often, or you settle via broker. This is normal — still often cheaper than UK retail for Polish-sourced cosmetics, clothes, and parts.
Inside-EU Polish VAT on purchase is separate from UK import VAT — your Polish invoice documents what you paid at source.
Popular UK categories
- Polish cosmetics (massive vs Boots/Superdrug pricing)
- Vinted.pl fashion — Reserved, 4F, kids bundles
- Car parts for VAG/Stellantis platforms
- Food care packages to Polish communities in UK
- Board games and collectibles
Express to London: often 3–5 business days after dispatch from Warsaw. Economy: 5–9 days. Northern Ireland and Highlands add time.
Royal Mail vs courier
Small packets sometimes route via postal channels; heavier consolidated boxes go DPD/DHL. We pick based on weight and your budget in Polbox.world dashboard.
FAQ
Q: Can I ship to UK PO Box? A: Usually yes via couriers that support it — confirm at checkout.
Q: Amazon.pl to UK via forwarder? A: Yes, if seller ships to Polish address.
Q: Is under-declaring worth it? A: No. UK customs data-sharing is good; penalties are ugly.
