What consolidation means
You send multiple purchases to your Polish address at ParcelPoland.com. We store them (free holding period), remove excess packaging, combine into one outer box, and ship once to your country. You pay one international label, one handling fee, one customs declaration.
Why couriers punish small parcels
International couriers bill on chargeable weight — the higher of actual weight or dimensional (volumetric) weight. Five shoebox-sized parcels sent separately carry five times the dimensional penalty. One consolidated box shares one volumetric calculation.
Example (EU customer, illustrative):
- 5 separate 1.2 kg parcels → ~€38 each → €190 total shipping
- Same items consolidated to 5.8 kg one box → ~€52 total shipping
- Savings: ~73%
Each Allegro or Vinted order ships domestically via InPost Paczkomat for ~10–12 PLN. Even ten orders cost ~100 PLN (~€23) domestically — still trivial compared to international multiples.
Optimal consolidation rhythm
Successful customers on Polbox.world typically:
- Order over 7–14 days
- Let 4–12 parcels accumulate
- Request consolidation when dashboard shows all arrivals
- Repeat every 6–10 weeks
We remove: empty Amazon-style boxes, duplicate manuals you do not need, filler plastic. We keep: retail boxes if you resell, invoices, warranty cards, original cosmetics seals.
When NOT to consolidate
- One urgent item with hard deadline — ship alone.
- Oversized item that forces huge dimensional weight — evaluate alone.
- Items with incompatible customs (food + electronics is fine; hazmat is not).
Log into parcelpoland.com → select arriving parcels → "Consolidate & Ship" → choose courier tier → pay. Forum questions welcome in this thread.
Consolidation is the difference between "forwarding is expensive" and "forwarding saved me hundreds."
