What is InPost?
InPost is Poland's dominant out-of-home delivery network. Sellers ship to a locker; the buyer (or forwarding agent) collects with a code or the InPost mobile app. Allegro Smart! listings frequently include InPost Paczkomat as a free or discounted option.
Why lockers matter for forwarding
- Cost: Domestic locker delivery is often 10–14 PLN vs 15–25 PLN for courier to a door.
- Speed: Parcels ready for pickup within 24–48 hours of dispatch.
- Flexibility: 48-hour pickup window; extended storage available.
- Coverage: Lockers in every Polish city and most towns.
- Register at ParcelPoland.com and note your assigned Warsaw-area locker code (provided in your account dashboard).
- At Allegro checkout, select InPost Paczkomat and enter the locker ID we assign you.
- Seller drops the parcel in the locker; InPost notifies us.
- Our team collects, scans into your account, and holds for consolidation.
- When ready, we forward internationally via DHL, UPS, or FedEx from Polbox.world.
Can any Allegro seller ship to InPost?
Most Smart! sellers yes. Check the delivery options before buying.
What if the parcel is too large for the locker?
InPost offers different locker sizes (small, medium, large). Oversize items need courier delivery to our street address instead — both options work.
Do I need a Polish phone number?
We handle collection on your behalf, so you do not need a local SIM.
How fast is locker-to-warehouse?
Same day or next business day after the seller deposits the parcel.
Pro tip
Stack 3–5 InPost deliveries before requesting international forward. Domestic locker fees are per-parcel; consolidation turns five 12 PLN deliveries into one international shipment.
