How to track an international parcel sent from Poland

Hey,
Few things are more frustrating than a parcel that seems to disappear halfway through its journey. Here's how I keep track of shipments from Poland:
- Always save the tracking number in a dedicated note or sheet — don't rely on finding it in your inbox later.
- Use a universal tracker like Parcels.app or 17track. They aggregate data from carriers and their local handover partners, which is invaluable once a parcel leaves Poland.
- Check both the origin carrier (e.g. DPD PL) and the destination carrier (e.g. DPD UK). Sometimes status updates only appear on one side.
- Don't panic if there's a 2–3 day gap when the parcel crosses the border and customs — that's normal.
- If the last status is "in customs" for over a week, contact the destination carrier, not the origin.
For really important parcels I take screenshots of the tracking page every day; it helped me once when a carrier tried to claim the parcel was delivered.
What tracking tools do you rely on?
